Cryogenic Vessel Alternatives, Inc. (CVA) of Mont Belvieu, Texas, the world’s second largest cryogenic equipment manufacturer, is seeking to hire a Production Supervisor
The position is based at our headquarters offices in Mont Belvieu, TX.
The work environment is an office setting and a fabrication shop.
The Duties Include:
Provide supervisions for hourly production employees within a specified work area or shift. Maintain work schedules of employees to ensure proper coverage to meet customer and business demand. Identify and monitor performance indicators, measuring actual vs. Planned. Plan, maintain and communicate production requirements while providing directions and guidance to employees to achieve planned objectives. Ensure that employees are properly trained and have the necessary resources to meet safety, quality and productivity standards and goals. Ensure adherence of all employees to company and plant procedures. Build a performance-driven culture through utilization of performance measurement systems, lean principles.
The successful candidate will have the ability to lead, direct and develop employees in order to meet business objectives. Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills are required. Strong organizational and planning skills are needed.
Proficiency in the use of personal computers including MS-EXCEL and MS-WORD applications. Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Principles and their application.
The Position Requirements Are:
A minimum of 2-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as the above mentioned skills. A Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent is preferred.
